Slack Incoming Webhooks

BG Renderer Max can post render-complete messages to any Slack channel using Slack Incoming Webhooks. Requires a free Slack workspace.

Setup

Step 1

Go to https://api.slack.com/apps and create a new app (or select an existing one).

Step 2

Under Incoming Webhooks, toggle webhooks ON.

Step 3

Click Add New Webhook to Workspace and choose a channel.

Step 4

Copy the webhook URL (starts with https://hooks.slack.com/services/...).

Step 5

In BG Renderer Max, add a Slack post-render action and paste the URL.

Step 6

Click Test Slack Notification to verify.

What Gets Sent

BG Renderer Max sends a Block Kit message to Slack with:

  • Composition name
  • FPS
  • Start frame
  • Render duration
  • File path
